This is my bread and butter—or bamboo, should I say. I choose arts and culture as my beat because I always seek to understand a creation’s form and substance. Everything is created with intent, and my job is to help people appreciate art and ensure it reaches its intended audience.

Redwood City has revitalized its downtown through a decade-long public art initiative funded by public and private sources, featuring murals and installations that reflect local culture and community history. While many celebrate its economic growth, others lament the loss of historic landmarks, local institutions, and community traditions that once defined the city’s identity.

The 26th annual Disabilities Art Showcase in Redwood City highlighted works by artists with disabilities, aiming to promote inclusion and accessibility through diverse media displayed at the Center for Creativity.
